Function: It is used for the modification of hypoeutectic and eutectic Al-Si alloys with long casting time. Avoid Cl- and F- in the aluminum liquid.
Use method:
Dry before use.
Addition temperature: 720 ° C - 760 ° C.
Adding amount: 0.02-0.06% of Sr remains in the aluminum liquid, which has different degrees of deterioration effect on different alloys, and the economic dosage is determined by experiment. The reference dosage of this product is 0.2-0.6% of the amount of aluminum (new material) to be treated. The enthalpy in the recycled material is still valid and is not added.
Deterioration effective time: 4-8 hours.
Operation method:
The bulk alloy modifier is poured into the mash, and the mixture is uniformly stirred after being melted; after standing for 10-20 minutes, the test stick is poured and the test is performed when the fracture is normal.
Fracture inspection: The size of the test bar before the furnace is ×12×100. The normal fracture is silvery white velvet, the grain is fine and uniform, and there is no silicon bright spot.
The modification treatment is generally carried out after refining, and after the modification treatment, secondary refining can be performed as required.
Storage: Store in a dry and ventilated place, protected from moisture.
